About the Role

The Mobile Platform team at Amazon is responsible for the One Medical mobile platform and supports feature teams in developing solutions that raise the bar for mobile experiences. We are responsible for the app architecture, developer onboarding, mobile app releases, reliability, and ensuring production issues get routed to the right teams and resolved in a timely manner.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will bridge the gap between front-end mobile development and back-end services. You will leverage your expertise by contributing to projects such as improving the app's offline experience, defining a pagination strategy, and developing a cross-platform UI framework that allows any team to own features end-to-end in the OM app.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions for the mobile platform
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and technical requirements
* Develop and maintain high-quality code, following Amazon's coding standards and best practices
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase

Requirements

* 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

* 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
* Experience with Ruby/Rails
* Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (React/Redux, Angular/NgRx, or other front-end frameworks)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
