About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geomatics Project Manager to join our team at SAM. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of large-scale survey projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and resources to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the geomatics or survey industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of geomatics and survey principles, including data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar.
