Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Physicians East. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients battling cancer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, communicate, problem-solve, and make decisions while maintaining a customer service focus.
  • Demonstrate responsible decision-making in planning, providing, and delegating care based on assessment.
  • Perform accurate ongoing assessment of patient status.
  • Effectively plan interventions, evaluate response, and reassess plan of care and document response on the care plan.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, staff, physicians, and leadership.
  • Follow through on problems that may compromise patient care by using the appropriate chain of command.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in NC.
  • Prior experience as a registered nurse is preferred, with experience in Hematology/Oncology being advantageous.
