Position Purpose

The Residential Relations Associate plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, addressing maintenance, leasing, finance, administration, and overall customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Assists the Property Manager in meeting the needs of the property and its residents.
  • Addresses resident complaints and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Schedules appointments for repairs and meetings with residents.
  • Prepares correspondence and notices as required.
  • Prepares paperwork related to resident accounts.
  • Follows up with residents to ensure work orders are completed correctly and expeditiously.
  • Assists with rent increases, late payments/collections, evictions, and the move-in/out process.
  • Maintains files for residents, lease applications, deposits, etc., and assists in leasing when needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in residential real estate is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Yardi or comparable software is a plus.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
