About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Community Health Innovation and Development Specialist to join our Strategy and Innovation team. The selected candidate will play a key role in a dynamic project that aims to document and celebrate the incredible community health innovations happening across VOA.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and interviews to create compelling profiles of innovative community health programs taking place across the organization
- Develop engaging content (blog posts, social media updates, etc.) to share program successes
- Analyze publicly available community health data and assessments to provide context and demonstrate impact
Requirements:
- Interest in community/public health and making a difference
- Experience with basic online research of public health issues
- Commitment to inclusive and collaborative team culture
- Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
