Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing your expertise and compassion to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain comprehensive data from patients, families, and other healthcare providers to develop a holistic picture of patient needs or conditions.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnoses or conditions relevant to care.
  • Identify optimal outcomes for patients in collaboration with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
  • Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain outcomes, using clinical judgment in collaboration with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
  • Implement plans, employing strategies to promote and maintain a safe environment, coordinating implementation with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
  • Evaluate processes and progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, evaluating own practice, and maintaining current knowledge and competence.
  • Communicate effectively in all areas of practice, collaborating with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
  • Use clinical inquiry and integrate best evidence into practice.
  • Apply existing evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to critical care nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the department's Scope of Service.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • No experience required.
