Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will leverage your technical skills across various transportation, trail, safety, and multimodal projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting data analysis and site assessments for transportation corridors and trail systems.
  • Applying your expertise in multimodal transportation and trail design to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Engaging in public outreach through workshops, site audits, and community events.
  • Utilizing your writing and mapping skills to produce comprehensive reports and strategic plans.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a combination of skills, experience, and education, including:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation planning.
  • A solid understanding of multimodal transportation practices and trail design standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in preparing plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver high-quality results.
  • Willingness to participate in public engagement activities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Additional skills that would be advantageous include:

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic design.
  • A Master’s degree in planning or a related discipline.
  • Experience in transportation consulting.
  • Membership in a professional organization.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $62,300–$84,500 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
