Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Northwest Children's Home, Inc. as a Pediatric Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to emotionally disturbed and/or mentally ill clients receiving treatment and rehabilitative services.

Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision, provide professional nursing care to clients, working with clinical and case management staff to coordinate care and assist in treatment plans.
  • Assess and treat simple and complex psychiatric and mental health problems, including adjustment disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar illness, major depression, and anxiety disorders.
  • Manage, coordinate, and evaluate the care and education of clients and their families along the healthcare process.
  • Support clients who require close monitoring and adhere to medications and therapies with complex protocols.
Requirements
  • Valid and current Registered Nurse license issued by the Idaho Board of Nursing.
  • Experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic techniques.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with behavioral health.
  • Specialized education or experience working with mental health patients.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass required background checks.
