Universal Banking Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Universal Banker to join our team at Teachers Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service across a range of financial products.
• Engage in the sales and support of all credit union offerings, focusing on relationship building and enhancing member engagement.
• Ensure a high standard of member service aligned with Teachers Credit Union's service principles.
• Perform various member service tasks accurately and promptly, including cash handling, processing transactions, and account management.
• Safeguard member confidentiality and sensitive information.
• Achieve or surpass sales and referral targets by actively listening and identifying member needs.
• Participate in outreach efforts by updating and contacting potential members and following up on leads.
• May undertake additional retail responsibilities such as drawer audits and vault management.
• Adhere to credit union policies regarding cash handling and transaction approvals.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address member inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by management to support the growth of the credit union.

• Utilize product knowledge to effectively cross-sell services to members.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of needs-based selling techniques.
• Make informed decisions within established guidelines to meet performance goals.
• Comply with policies related to the Bank Secrecy Act and ensure security measures are followed.
• Meet performance management objectives as agreed upon with supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred experience includes six months in retail sales or cash handling, or similar roles in financial services.
