Role Purpose

This role is essential in providing support to members and executing a wide range of member services, including account openings, certificate renewals, account management, lending, and promoting products and services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate and advocate for the advantages of all products and services available to Vibe members.
  • Establish relationships and actively promote beneficial products and services.
  • Assist members with account services by clarifying benefits and facilitating the opening of products, including new accounts, certificates, IRAs, and various lending options.
  • Address member inquiries and deliver effective solutions to resolve issues.
  • Complete necessary daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and tasks.
  • Support all branch and credit union staff as required.
  • Process, evaluate, and disburse loan applications for Quick Cash loans, Lines of Credit, and credit cards.
  • Offer notary and signature guarantee services to members.
  • Be prepared to maintain a work schedule that aligns with the demographic needs of the branch and adapt to changing requirements as necessary.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) to ensure compliance with current regulations.
  • Capable of performing basic teller transactions and serving as a backup for branch coverage when needed.
  • Undertake other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer or member service is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional customer service and sales abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, along with a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Aptitude for writing routine reports and correspondence.
