About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Brock & Company Inc. as a Sous Chef II. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting unit management in the production, preparation, and cooking of high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Production: Oversee the production of soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering, and other menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Station Setup: Prepare and set up stations with the necessary equipment and food, as instructed by the Chef Manager.
  • Purchasing and Inventory: Assist in purchasing, inventory control, and training to ensure efficient operations.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients and customers.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Possess a strong background in banquet or catering production, with a comprehensive understanding of food recipes, production orders, and cooking techniques.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all outlined health and safety regulations, including equipment use and personal hygiene.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move food, food containers, and other non-food items.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
