Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer skilled nursing care to patients in their place of residence, as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with the established plan of care.
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team as well as the patient/family.
  • Deliver care in compliance with State, Federal and Medicare standards and UNC Health Care policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Must have current driver's license and vehicle insurance in state of employment, and the ability to travel within a 50 mile radius on a daily basis.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Proficient verbal and written communications skills.
  • Possess the ability to transfer, maneuver and lift incapacitated clients in the home setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
