Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender at Shore Lodge, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will have the opportunity to work in a unique and dynamic environment, interacting with guests and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities- Greet guests and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer to Shore Lodge standards
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide exceptional service
- Manage guest requests, food orders, and accurately calculate tabs
- Operate the POS system and exchange money
- Prepare and serve snacks and other food items for customers
- Recognize potential intoxication and restrict alcohol intake
- Assist other team members as needed
- Experience in a 4-star dining room, preferably in an exclusive club or resort
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixers and the ability to prepare and present them to Shore Lodge standards
- Knowledge of liquors, their makeup, history, and flavor profile
- Ability to mix beverages using an extensive range of ingredients
- Excellent memory and ability to establish instant rapport with customers
