Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Bostwick Braun Company Inc. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order processing, shipment preparation, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory in designated locations.
    • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company standards.
    • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
    • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and coordinating shipping logistics.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following safety guidelines.
  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Focus on picking, packing, and preparing orders for timely shipment.
    • Ensure accuracy in order processing and shipment preparation.
    • Collaborate with logistics to ensure smooth shipping and receiving.
  • Inventory Support:
    • Assist with inventory checks as needed.
    • Support inventory control efforts under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager.
    • Update inventory systems occasionally for stock movement tracking.
  • Customer Service:
    • Handle occasional inquiries related to order status or product availability.
    • Provide assistance in resolving minor customer concerns when necessary.
  • Computer Use:
    • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and office software for tracking orders and communicating as needed.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
    • Provide feedback to management on warehouse workflow and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse associate role or similar logistics/operations position.
  • Basic proficiency with computer software (e.g., inventory systems, email, and Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
