Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst in Market Finance Operations is responsible for gathering, interpreting, and presenting various market metrics, linking operational performance and member satisfaction to financial results.

This role will collaborate closely with Finance, Provider Contracting, Provider Engagement, Actuarial, and Medicare Risk Adjustment teams to support the organization's initiatives aimed at enhancing member health outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, and other data platforms to extract information, develop key performance reports, create data visualizations, and conduct comprehensive data analysis.
  • Communicates clear insights to business stakeholders.
  • Works alongside Regional Leadership to transform financial and non-financial data into clear, actionable insights that facilitate managerial decision-making.
  • Develops and maintains data models for various ad-hoc analyses to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitors utilization reports and acts as a primary resource for identifying emerging trends.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with SAS or SQL.
  • At least 2 years' experience in data analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, CPA, or background in Actuarial Science.
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.

Remote Work Requirements:

To ensure effective remote work, associates must have internet service that meets the following criteria: a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance with company applications.

Acceptable connection types include Wireless, Wired Cable, or DSL. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be utilized only if they provide a reliable connection and must be approved by management.


Compensation:

The salary range for this position reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, with a range of $76,800 - $105,800 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
