- Excavation Support: Conduct light excavation using hand tools to expose buried utilities when necessary.
- Documentation: Provide precise documentation and sketches for all completed locates.
- Emergency Response: Respond to excavation notices promptly, including after-hours requests, adhering to established timeframes.
- Field Operations: Manage emergency calls and perform duties during weekends, nights, and potential overnight travel as required.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate company vehicles safely while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Safety Compliance: Perform manhole entry using the appropriate safety equipment and adhere to all safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as per company standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment such as shovels, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment in various weather conditions.
