Calgon Carbon, a leading provider of air and water purification solutions, is seeking a skilled Welder II LAV to join our team. As a key member of our Equipment and Assembly Facility in Pittsburgh, PA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations on vessels and structural components using various processes, including SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW, and GMAW.
- Meet CCC certified procedures and comply with ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI code certification.
- Inspect and repair own work to ensure compliance with drawings and weld procedures.
- Assist with incoming parts inspection and final product inspection, completing appropriate documentation.
- Operate Fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead crane.
- Complete ASME code weld log documentation daily.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A High School diploma or Trade School certification is required.
- Capability to obtain ASME section 9 in GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW certification while employed.
- 2 years of experience welding on pressure vessels and FCAW welding process is required.
- CCC procedures certification is a must.
