Medical Director

Family HealthCare Network is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internist to join our team. As an Internist, you will be responsible for providing primary care medical services in a Patient Centered Health Home context, with a focus on access to care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct provision of primary care medical services, meeting all established productivity expectations.
- Responsible for internal medicine professional focus and goals, including comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated care for adults and the elderly.
- Accountable for providing excellent customer service and care, consistently behaving with courtesy when interacting with patients, family members, support staff, and Network staff.
- Responsible for patient status as measured by relevant clinical quality measures, promoting and participating in daily huddles, and incorporating the participation of ancillary health team members in managing the care of patients and families.
- Assists the patient care team with performance improvement efforts, staff education, and FHCN promotion, including assisting with performance evaluations and quality improvement, and participating in rotation of medical, physician assistant students, and dental residents.
- Equivalent of extensive formal training in Internal Medicine, including an understanding of the application of the theory and practices of the profession to the operations of the organization.
- Ability to create highly complex documents in Microsoft Word, including linking multiple files and embedding objects linked to other documents.
- Ability to use advanced functions of Microsoft Excel, such as creating and managing databases, including creating standardized reports, or linking multiple worksheets and workbooks.
- Ability to develop sophisticated presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, including the use of embedded objects, transitions, and other elements.
- Licensed in the state of California as an Internist, with Board-eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine may be required or desired in certain positions.
- $258,383.12 - $413,213.00 + PLUS SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL ANNUAL EARNING POTENTIAL through outpatient productivity and quality pay, generous retention payments, shift differential pay, and extra shift pay.
