Key Responsibilities- Prepare and produce bakery products to meet production planner requirements
- Package and label bakery products according to program plans
- Merchandise bakery products to meet flight plan and merchandising expectations
- Stock backroom with bakery products, rotating and dating cases and buckets
- Notify the bakery manager of product and supply needs
- Collaborate with other departments and stores to achieve growth in our retail stores
- Understand basic mathematical functions and communicate tasks and recipes to other associates
- Follow all PPE and safety guidelines, food safety and cleaning expectations, and guest experience guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented
The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and moving up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate may be required to bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. The work environment is typically a retail store with varied temperatures and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
