Job Summary

The Admissions Specialist plays a vital role in the Intake Team, responsible for coordinating the admissions process. This includes handling inquiry calls, processing referrals, and communicating with referral sources and customers. Additional responsibilities include insurance verification, patient registration, and other non-clinical duties assigned by the admissions leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate admissions process, including handling inquiry calls and processing referrals
  • Communicate with referral sources and customers
  • Verify insurance and process patient registration
  • Perform other non-clinical duties assigned by the admissions leadership team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, mental health, or a related field
  • Minimum one year of experience in a human service, social service, psychiatric, or mental health setting
  • Certification in CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
