Job Summary

Evaluate and treat patient populations for therapy needs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition, establishing a plan of care that addresses identified problems.
  • Educate patients and families/caregivers about patient deficits, planning and/or assisting with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment settings.
  • Provide information regarding the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervise and delegate care provided by therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards.
  • Exercise critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • No minimum experience required.
