CDS Life Transitions is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing direct and indirect clinical services to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing physician-ordered speech therapy services, assessments, and developing individualized therapy plans. You will also work with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure compliance with program standards and provide training to new hires and supervisory staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure compliance with program standards.
- Provide training to new hires and supervisory staff.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including initial assessments, daily notes, and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Licensed and registered as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the New York State Department of Education.
- Ability to work independently and motivate others.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
