Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Front Load Driver to join our team. As a Commercial Waste Collector, you will be responsible for servicing commercial customers on assigned routes, collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks in a safe manner, complying with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers on assigned routes by emptying containers into trucks and hauling them to a disposal site.
  • Maintain and update route sheets, conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and complete logs.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers, including approximately 100-150 commercial customers per day.
  • Perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertions, and enter/exit the truck multiple times per day.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age, with no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years and no DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable) and ability to read and speak the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of CDL truck driving experience.
  • High School diploma or better.
