Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Front Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a front-load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a front-load truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites, following established routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service to commercial customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
  • Excellent physical stamina, with the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in schedule and route.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to heavy traffic, tight driving areas, and residential and commercial waste. The ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is also required.
