  • We employ a variety of technologies such as Knack, a no-code workflow management platform, enterprise solutions like PowerBI and ArcGIS, as well as established open-source languages like Python and React to craft tailored solutions.
  • This position will provide opportunities to contribute to a growing suite of products, ranging from data visualizations to intricate analytics and mapping tools.
  • Engage closely with fellow software developers and product managers, implementing user stories in an agile manner.
  • Participate in bi-weekly sprint cycles and planning sessions where your contributions will be acknowledged, and you will receive prompt feedback from users and stakeholders.
  • Design and develop cutting-edge software solutions utilizing React (JavaScript), Python, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and geospatial data.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, systems analysts, and software developers.
  • Establish standards for future technology initiatives (e.g., coding style guidelines, linting, Continuous Integration and Delivery).
  • Refactor both frontend and backend code with a focus on stability and long-term maintainability.
  • Contribute to open-source software projects using GitHub for collaborative efforts and code reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in coding for software applications and services.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate with and support cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to assess languages, frameworks, and tools to address challenges while minimizing technical debt.
  • Quick adaptability to emerging technologies.
  • A collaborative, empathetic, and positive team player.
  • The initial duration of this contract is six months, with the potential for extension for professionals who integrate well with our team.
