Job Summary

Premier Magnesia, LLC is seeking a skilled Magnesia Salt Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our salt production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Production Operations: Oversee the packaging, warehousing, and shipping of product, as well as the unloading and storage of raw materials.
  • Quality Control: Ensure accurate completion of shipping documents and maintain a high level of quality in all products.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist other operators with plant tasks as needed and maintain effective communication between shifts and company personnel.
  • Maintenance and Inventory: Monitor and maintain all equipment and controls, and keep all work areas neat and orderly.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of prior employment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, effective oral and written communication, and ability to read and understand procedures and instructions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds repetitively, climb ladders, and work on platforms.
