Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Saint Luke's Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families during this critical period.


Key Responsibilities


• Provide individualized care to patients in labor, including monitoring fetal heart rates and providing emotional support to patients and their families.


• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and perform various medical procedures as needed.


• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.


Requirements


• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.


• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.


• Two years of experience in acute care, preferably in Labor and Delivery, with previous clinical nursing experience.


• Possession of current certifications in Basic Life Support, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and families.
