Job Summary

Maintain a safe and efficient baler room environment by performing various tasks, including weighing and stacking bales, emptying scrap bins and boxes, loading and unloading trucks as needed, and completing necessary reports. Ensure compliance with all workplace rules, policies, and procedures, including SQF and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weigh and stack bales to ensure accurate inventory and efficient storage
  • Empty scrap bins and boxes to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Load and unload trucks as needed to support production operations
  • Complete necessary reports and documentation to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace rules, policies, and procedures, including SQF and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Ability to use and read basic measurement devices, including calculators, tape measures, and rulers
  • Knowledge of testing devices, such as the Chatillon, E J Caddy, Mettler PM 480, and Fluke IR Thermometer
  • Lift truck (fork-lift) certification and pallet jack operation
  • General mechanical aptitude and ability to operate crane/hoists
  • Valid PIT license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform quality checks on cartons being processed
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced production environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a safe and efficient workspace is essential.
