About the Position:
The Clinical Pharmacist for the Inpatient Cardiology Pharmacy Services Department at Duke Health is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to adult inpatients with cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and reduce readmissions
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or BS Pharmacy degree
- TWO YEARS of pharmacy practice experience OR completion of an accredited residency program AND demonstrated ability to achieve positive patient outcomes in a similar environment
- Licensed Pharmacist or eligible to practice pharmacy in North Carolina
Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year
Location: Durham, NC
