Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of campus facilities to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, and other incidents.
- Enforce college policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, including facilities and public safety, to ensure a safe and secure campus environment.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in campus security.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice or security management.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a security-related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, and respond to emergency situations.
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality.
