Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced litigation and bankruptcy attorney to join our team. As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will work independently and have major matter, team, or client responsibilities. You will handle matters of very substantial importance, providing technical and expert legal services to our Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform as a specialist in the litigation and bankruptcy fields of law, providing technical and expert legal services to our Business Units.
  • Directly manage relationships and matters with Business Units and outside counsel.
  • Prepare and revise budgets and early matter assessments for all matters involving outside counsel.
  • Project leadership direction to support staff.

Requirements

  • An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law.
  • At least 10-12 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the legal field to the completion of complex assignments.
  • Requires excellent legal research, analytical abilities, and ongoing knowledge of federal and/or state law, including bankruptcy law.
