Position Summary:
The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT) is responsible for administering a variety of respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, medicinal gases, and aerosolized medications to enhance the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate and attentive care to residents.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' health status, including responses to treatments.
- Interpret physician's orders to determine treatment requirements.
- Administer prescribed therapies and treatments to residents.
- Report any adverse reactions to treatments to the nursing staff or physician and document accordingly.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with departmental standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of all respiratory equipment prior to use.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid RRT licensure in Respiratory Therapy.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Valid CPR certification; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Commitment to ongoing education and competency as mandated by regulatory standards.
