Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Have two (2) years of regular (twenty (20) hours or more per week) continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in required state.
  • BLS.
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of the required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • 2 years of hospital experience in clinical area; EP preferred.
