As a Medical Operating Room Coordinator with Cross Country Nurses, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a reputable healthcare facility in Winchester, Virginia.

You will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting nurses and surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate pre-operative preparations, including setting up equipment and supplies
  • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other aspects of surgical care
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
  • Transport patients to and from surgery

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist or related field
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, but not required
