Key Responsibilities
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of local market trends to identify business development opportunities across all product lines.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to drive growth by selling insurance products to new clients.
- Engage in proactive cross-selling and collaborate with agency team members to extend coverage options to existing clients.
- Generate new business through various channels including leads, phone outreach, networking events, trade shows, and personal connections.
- Secure new business through individual efforts and established lead generation methods.
- Prepare quotes and applications, delivering compelling presentations to effectively close sales.
- Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Property & Casualty license prior to the start date.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and organize workload efficiently.
- Proven experience in sales and customer service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
- Familiarity with a variety of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
