Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance and housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance and housekeeping needs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and housekeeping activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize maintenance and housekeeping budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and local health codes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their maintenance and housekeeping needs in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and housekeeping management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance and housekeeping staff and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
