Medical Equipment Service Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient and self-sufficient Medical Equipment Service Technician to enhance our operations. This position focuses on diagnosing and fixing medical apparatus utilized in surgical environments, in addition to offering installation assistance for intricate mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic systems.

Ideal candidates generally possess a background in HVAC maintenance, mechanical repairs, refrigeration systems, boiler operations, chiller maintenance, equipment servicing, automotive and diesel repairs, aviation maintenance, plumbing, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and upkeep of medical equipment.
  • Independently manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Inform clients about repair options and equipment functionality.
  • Provide support across various sites within the designated area.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Essential Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years in a technical or mechanical capacity.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Experience in customer service and teamwork.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule.
