Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of drainage impact studies, master plans, and engineering reports.
  • Develop project design concepts, criteria, and construction plans, and review project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with clients and other disciplines to prepare appropriate designs, as dictated by the scope of work.
  • Analyze complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures.
  • Consult with construction personnel concerning design constructability.
  • Provide input for proposals and pursuit of new projects.
  • Supervise junior-level staff and make recommendations on project staffing.
  • Communicate independently with clients and manage design teams integrated with multiple disciplines.
Requirements
  • Minimum Requirements: BS in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) License, 8+ years of applicable H&H experience.
  • Expertise with ArcGIS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, XP SWMM (1D/2D), AutoCAD/Microstation (preferred), and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with project proposals and presentations, excellent oral and written communication skills, and some experience with management of small work groups and project tasks.
