Key Responsibilities:
- The Interventional Radiologist will perform a range of procedures, including but not limited to:
- Preparation and follow-up for procedures
- Image-guided interventions
- TACE
- TARE - Y90
- Microwave ablations
- Renal cryoablations
- Suprapubic catheter placements
- IVC placements
- Peripheral stenting
- Collaborate with the patient's healthcare team, both within the Interventional Radiology department and across the medical facility
- Oversee quality and safety protocols
- Review and authorize exam requests
- Ensure imaging quality adheres to standards
- Manage medication administration
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives
- Image Analysis and Consultation
- Interpret imaging studies and produce detailed reports
- Offer expert consultation to medical professionals
- Participate in clinical discussions
- Patient Care
- Gather clinical history and examination findings
- Educate and assist patients
- Effectively coordinate patient care
- Stay informed on current radiology practices
Essential Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent
- Valid medical or surgical practice license
- Completed residency in a core specialty program
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board eligible or certified in radiology
- At least 2 years of experience as an Attending Radiologist with a focus on advanced procedures
