About the Job

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced Inpatient Nurse - Burn Unit to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients in the Inpatient Burn Unit.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care delivery and education.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and document findings accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in burn care and wound management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing (Kansas) or compact license.
