Position Summary

Are you meticulous, dedicated, and committed to upholding a pristine and secure environment? As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will be essential in maintaining our facilities in immaculate condition.


Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of general cleaning tasks alongside minor exterior upkeep, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all.


Key Duties:

  • Execute routine cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Maintain and replenish supplies in restrooms and communal areas as required.
  • Dispose of waste and replace liners in trash containers.
  • Perform light exterior maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, cleaning windows, and pressure washing.
  • Engage in landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, planting, and garden maintenance.
  • Observe and report any needed repairs or replacements to management.
  • Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
  • Assist with special projects and thorough cleaning assignments as required.
  • Ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in cleaning and light maintenance is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Capability to operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning agents safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy items, and stand for extended periods.

Working Environment:

  • Must be comfortable using a ladder with a maximum height of 10 feet.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents and equipment noise.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
