Customer Service Specialist Role Overview

At Orkin, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every customer interaction is a positive one. Your primary responsibilities will include answering incoming calls, scheduling service visits, and maintaining efficient routes to minimize drive time for our technicians. You'll also be responsible for resolving customer issues, coordinating service, and supporting overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments.
  • Navigate our Windows-based and web-based systems to track routes and optimize current and future schedules.
  • Apply expertise to schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and recommend alternative routes when necessary.
  • Use your sharp listening skills and probing questions to identify customer concerns and evaluate their needs.
  • Monitor, update, and maintain customer databases with accurate customer information.
  • Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes, programs, and initiatives.
