Job Summary

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and operating special systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, effective communication skills, and a positive working relationship with team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safety-conscious awareness of risks involved in working on high-voltage, high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot (diagnose and repair) products.
  • Perform first-time installation of detail parts onto vehicles.
  • Reinstall all parts removed.
  • Clean all parts prior to and after installation.
  • Conduct functional testing of all systems assembled.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 or more years of mechanical experience in automotive manufacturing settings.
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ten or more years of mechanical experience in automotive or machinery applications.
  • Previous experience with basic hand tools.
  • Good understanding of JD Edwards System.
  • Electrical system programming knowledge.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • General fabrication equipment experience.
  • Working with engineering drawings.
