EMT Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled EMT Coordinator to join our team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. As an EMT Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient transfer of patients to various healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all transfer center functions, including centralized patient placement, in a timely and customer-centered manner.
- Coordinate the transfer of emergent, urgent, and elective patients to a final destination facility from various referral sources.
- Ensure accurate and concurrent data collection and maintenance in both patient records and center workflow systems.
- Proficiently navigate and document in all technology platforms and other call and office-oriented systems as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical or hospital experience (Preferred)
- Dispatch experience (Highly Preferred)
- Call Center/Transfer Center experience (Preferred)
- EMT Certificate (Required)
- Knowledge of all state/federal regulatory requirements pertaining to ambulance transports
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with physicians and their offices to coordinate admission
- Problem-solving skills to determine the best course of action, which will be satisfactory to the patient, the physicians, and the hospital
