Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at i4 Search Group. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. You will work under the general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessment, care-planning, and collaboration with other health care providers.
  • Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees as needed.
  • Document all aspects of patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic testing and monitoring through the application/use of spirometry.
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
  • Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred, Associate of Science Degree, minimum.
  • Recent graduate of a Respiratory Therapy school or two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience in a Tertiary Hospital.
  • Associates degree. Graduate of an accredited (by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, (CAAHEP). Respiratory Therapist Educational Program with an Associate Degree.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist License from the State of practice.
  • Successful completion of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC registration examination requirements).
  • Registered respiratory therapist (RRT) credentials.
  • BLS card from AHA required before start date (valid at least 60 days beyond start date).
