Responsibilities
  • Implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in unit activities and contribute to the development of new LPNs and patient care support staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Successful completion of the IV therapy curriculum.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Licensure and Certifications
  • Current LPN licensure in the state where practicing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
