About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Cardiac Surgeon to oversee the development of our cardiac surgery service line at Providence Medical Group in Northern California. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our dedicated OR team, strong cardiac anesthesia and ICU support, and a great collaborator and team builder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the cardiac surgery program in Sonoma County
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase cardiac case volume
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and community partners
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Board certification in cardiovascular surgery
  • At least 5 years of experience in complex revascularization, mitral valve repair, aortic surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive and robotic techniques
  • Expertise in vascular surgery is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build strong teams
