Career Development Specialist - Sonoma County

Conservation Corps North Bay, a leading organization in environmental conservation and youth development, seeks an experienced Career Development Specialist to join our team in Sonoma County.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to support our Career Pathways program in Sonoma County. As a Career Development Specialist, you will play a key role in helping young adults achieve their career goals and transition into meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate the successful implementation of Career Pathways department activities in Sonoma County, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and oversee Career Pathways Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Grants Coordination and Reporting: Assist in tracking and controlling grant expenses, ensuring all grant obligations are met, and coordinating with staff to gather information required for grant reports.
  • Career Preparation Program: Coordinate and oversee the implementation of career preparation programs for Sonoma County corpsmembers, including group workshops, internal and external trainings, and individualized coaching and support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, education, social work, public policy, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience working with teenagers or young adults.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with experience using Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
