Role Overview
We are in search of a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our exceptional team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality and efficient care to all patients. Our collaborative environment thrives on mutual support, and we are eager to welcome a passionate individual who shares our commitment to patient care.
As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting tests related to heart health under the supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director. Your role will involve:
- Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the catheterization labs.
- Collecting and organizing data for database management, outcome analysis, and performance enhancement.
- Executing additional tasks as assigned by the Cath Lab Supervisor or CV Services Director to maintain departmental efficiency.
- Participating in the on-call rotation and responding promptly when required.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited Radiology Technologist program or an Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program. Alternatively, two years of current Cath Lab experience may substitute for formal program completion. New graduates must achieve credentialing within one year of eligibility.
Experience in a Cath Lab or equivalent clinical exposure during educational training is essential. On-the-job training with a minimum of ten years of experience may also qualify in lieu of formal program completion.
