Business Intelligence Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Solutions Specialist to join our team at Northstrat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and document client needs for Business Intelligence solutions
  • Create and maintain metadata objects, reports, and dashboards using MicroStrategy
  • Facilitate client liaison and support ad hoc demonstrations and interactive design sessions
  • Act as a part analyst/part developer, working extensively with clients
  • Collaborate with teammates to prioritize user missions and communicate effectively to solve problems and achieve mission goals
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with MicroStrategy's dynamic dashboard, report development, and project design
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Extensive experience with project planning, estimating, and approach definition
  • Experience in reviewing and enhancing logical and physical database designs and optimization with the Business Intelligence platform
  • Extensive experience with MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Experience with application object development, including metrics, templates, and filters
  • Experience in configuring, governing, troubleshooting, and tuning the Intelligence Server
  • Extensive experience with MicroStrategy Security Administration
  • Experience with client server applications and architectures
  • Proficiency in relational structures, dimensional data modeling, SQL skills, Data Warehousing, and reporting techniques
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate details with all levels of management
  • Strong people skills to identify requirements and deliver results
Desired Qualifications:
  • Web SDK experience
  • Experience with MicroStrategy Administration toolkit
  • Experience with MicroStrategy Security Administration
  • MicroStrategy 9.X training or certification
